A Magdalene Laundry, Ireland 1923, during the closing days of the civil war. Flowers Of the Rarest, explores the lives of five women imprisoned there. When the conflict finally breaches the laundry walls, the rigidity of their harsh, cloistered existence is shaken, awakening hopes of freedom.
